AI Summary

Samsung’s Health Assistant, a fully integrated, AI-powered personal health assistant within Samsung Health, is now in beta for eligible U.S. users.

Health Assistant connects data across Samsung Health’s five core pillars of wellness to turn personal health information into actionable insights.

This launch advances Samsung’s Connected Care vision, linking daily wellness monitoring with more personalized guidance and opportunities for early detection.

Today, health information is often fragmented across multiple devices, apps, and services, making it difficult for people to build a complete understanding of their overall wellness. While access to health data has never been greater, many users still struggle to interpret what their data means and understand how they can make meaningful changes in their lifestyle.

Meet Samsung Health Assistant, a fully integrated AI-powered personal health assistant for Samsung Health — now in beta for eligible U.S. users.

Users can view their Energy Score and receive tailored health recommendations directly within the new Health Assistant.1

Health Assistant will help users achieve their health and wellness goals by connecting important health data with insights that empower them to ask questions about their health and gain access to rich, personalized health guidance and recommendations.2

With a holistic understanding of a user's health, Health Assistant will connect user health information from Samsung Health’s five core pillars of wellness — sleep, activity, nutrition, mindfulness, and vitals — and transform this data into meaningful, actionable insights, while explaining how each variable impacts the others.

Backed by Samsung Health’s unique knowledge base, Health Assistant will identify patterns and signals users might otherwise miss, and provide high quality recommendations that have been validated by a team of physicians and certified health coaches, on how to proactively track their health.

“Our new Health Assistant advances Samsung’s vision for Connected Care by giving users a deeper understanding of their mind and body through daily health monitoring and increasing opportunities for early detection,” said Dr. Hon Pak, Senior Vice President and Head of Digital Health Team, Mobile eXperience Business.

In tandem, Samsung’s acquisition of Xealth extends this by connecting everyday wellness data to clinical care — accelerating the ability to connect user-consented health insights with care teams, securely, and at scale.

“By leveraging our ecosystem and partnerships, we aim to deliver a holistic understanding of health and drive real action, helping users build healthier habits and bringing real change to their lives,” added Dr. Pak.

Health Assistant’s future capabilities will explore coaching to help users achieve their goals through behavior change and a wider set of services available in Samsung Health, such as weight management. It will also use the Personal Data Engine (PDE) as context to provide highly personalized responses that are sensitive to a user's schedule and preferences — for example, taking into account a user's calendar events or habits to provide personalized recommendations.
