When photographer Brent Hall was medically discharged from the U.S Navy in 2006 he found himself in the throes of PTSD and depression. He moved back to New Mexico and quickly realized that the more he grabbed his camera and took off in nature, the more he reconnected with himself and started to feel better. Today, Brent’s experience recognizing the therapeutic power of creative expression helps inspire nearly 85,000 people, including other veterans, who subscribe to his YouTube channel for approachable photography tips—like how to take incredible images on Galaxy smartphones.
